Stardust Brocade: A Guili Zine is a for-charity, donation-optional fanmade Genshin Impact digital zine centered around the romantic relationship of Guizhong and Zhongli.This zine celebrates the many aspects of their romantic relationship, set in various situations and settings.This zine welcomes various works of art and writing set both in canon settings, as well as Alternate Universes and canon-divergence settings.All characters featured in the zine belong to Hoyoverse and Genshin Impact. Stardust Brocade is a fan-organized and unofficial project of derivative work with no direct affiliation to Hoyoverse and Genshin Impact.

Anyone 18 or older by the time of applications are welcome to apply! We are looking for people who are interested in showing appreciation for this pairing.Can we apply for more than one role?
Contributors and Moderators can apply for multiple roles, and may be accepted for either 1 or 2 roles, depending on application results. Prior experience in zines is not required. However, all will be expected to communicate openly as well as finish work according to the schedules set.Will this zine be a physical or digital release?

Stardust Brocade is an SFW zine, with a T - rating by AO3 guidelines. Explicit NSFW pieces are not permitted for the main zine. Whump and hurt/comfort content is allowed. Gore and Dead Dove are not permitted for this zine. Our mods will screen zine pitches before approval.What kind of content is permitted for this zine?
This zine allows any fanart and fanfiction about Guizhong and Zhongli as the main pairing, so long as it follows the zine specs accordingly! Other relevant characters may be included as well, as long as Guizhong and Zhongli remain as the main focus of the work. This zine does not permit the works of Guizhong or Zhongli being reincarnated as another character, however reincarnation as themselves is permitted. AI generated or stolen pieces are not permitted.How many contributors will be accepted?

Yes! Feel free to express yourself. Canon, canon-divergence and AUs are allowed, as long as Guizhong and Zhongli remain the focus.Can we include other characters and ships?
You may include other relevant characters. However, we would like this zine to be focused on Guizhong and Zhongli, so as much as possible, minor inclusion of other ships are allowed as long as Guili remain the main focus. Our moderators will screen each pitch before it is approved.

All 3 Samples must be complete works/fully rendered.Please include a portfolio of 5-15 of your previous works.Comics may either be colour or B/W. Please include at least 1 piece with a background.
Artists will be judged based on style, colour and lighting, anatomy and proportion, as well as overall composition.Writers
All samples should be between 1.5K to 3.5K words (100 word leeway). At least one sample should be a completed example of the piece you are intending to create.Excerpts of longer pieces are allowed. Please insert to a google docs according to our word count limit. Guili pieces are not required, but recommended.
Writers will be judged based on grammar, spelling, pacing, diction, as well as characterization and the ability to tell a complete story.Merch Artists
All 3 Samples must be complete works/fully rendered.Portfolio of 5-15 of your previous works.Merch Artists will be judged based on style, color, composition, and variety of merch ideas. Please note that currently we are prioritizing digital merch, however the possibility of physical merch may be considered in the future.
Contributor GuidelinesAll Contributors must be 18 years old or older by the time of application. Communication will be done via Discord. All applicants are required to make or have a discord account.Creation period is from September - January, with the Zine's launch projected to be around February/March. Currently, this zine is planned to be a for-charity, donation-optional digital zine, and donations will go to CareForGaza. Any changes will be informed to all contributors as to ensure transparency in the process.In any occasion that a contributor require time to be offline or AFK for an extended period of time, all are required to inform the organization mod of the expected time to return online, as well as any needed extensions, and are still required to submit check-ins accordingly to the required extensions. Extensions are allowed for all deadlines except Final Submissions, so long as the mods are informed. Pinch Hitters receive 2 week extensions for all deadlines.Contributors are required to create a new original composition for this zine. Recreations or previously created pieces cannot be submitted to this zine for publishing. AI generated or stolen pieces are not permitted.Contributors are not permitted to publicly share their pieces outside of the zine discord server until allowed by zine moderators.Moderators and contributors are expected to communicate clearly and openly in a respectful manner.
